Multibody Dynamics for Automotive Engineers

Through applying Kinematics of Mechanisms, the Multibody Dynamics in Automotive Applications course improves students' understanding of the utility of the sophisticated set of equipment used for the structural configuration of multibody structural mechanics. Candidates will be able to use one of Altair Hyperworks' most widely used multibody dynamics software packages, Motionsolve/ Motionview, by putting what they've learned in class into practice. The curriculum was created by mechanical engineers who are experts in this sector to pass on their knowledge to students.

The fee structure is divided into three flexible plans. The basic plan gives you two months' access for INR 3000. The pro plan fee is INR 7000 per month and gives you four months of access. The premium plan is for INR 10,000 and gives you lifetime access.

This course equips applicants with the necessary abilities to recreate the motion of a fully functional vehicle, allowing them to appreciate the value of Multibody Dynamics as a subject of knowledge. Topics in the multibody dynamic analysis course curriculum encourage the kinematic study of various car mechanics. After completing this online course, students shall gain the upper hand over other Multibody Dynamics software, ADAMS, and SIMULIA.

Who Should Take This Course?

This course is for anyone with a keen interest in automotive engineering. This includes students, professionals, or individuals who want to explore what is multibody dynamics.

Engineering students with a basic understanding of machine theory can enrol in this course to further their expertise in the MBD area and apply for Multibody Dynamics Engineer positions with OEMs. Professionals looking for upskilling opportunities will find this course advantageous for career enhancement. Any individual seeking opportunities to develop their knowledge of Multibody Dynamics in Automotive Applications will be able to do so through this course.

The course allows applicants to build a professional portfolio from the tasks they complete during their training. Course completion and merit certificates may be seamlessly connected to the students' technical projects, giving them further professional value. The projects have been designed to provide applicants with the required abilities in Multibody Dynamics in Automotive Applications that will help them improve their résumé.

What will you learn?

A Multi-Body Dynamics Course (MBD) is a system of solid bodies or links joined by joints that limit their relative motion. The examination of how mechanical systems move under the impact of forces, also known as forwarding dynamics, is the subject of this course. Because product design usually necessitates grasping how various moving elements interact with one another and their surroundings, motion analysis is essential.

Moving parts create loads that are typically difficult to estimate, from vehicles and aeroplanes to washing machines and manufacturing lines. You will study core vibration focused on the automotive sector and automotive engineering fundamentals, load route, vibration, comfort, etc. Basic vibration will be covered, along with SDF, MDF, Time response, Frequency response, Normal Mode, Random Vibration with PSD Input, Testing, and modelling methodologies.

The course structure includes modelling standards, quality checks, Mat characteristics, etc. You will receive software instruction in Mechanical, Adams, and Motion View, among other topics. You will get an overview of various industry practices and regulatory needs for manufacturers in the US and Europe. The latter portion of the course framework covers problem definition, formulation, modelling, preparation, and simulation.

Skills You Will Gain

  • Using Motionsolve/ Motionview programme and learning about its numerous aspects.
  • Multibody Dynamics (MBD) in an industrial setting.
  • Multibody Dynamics fundamentals.
  • Static, transient, and linear simulations are performed, and simulations are controlled.
  • Using output data, graphs, and contours to investigate test findings.
  • Manage the files created by Adams view and Adam solver.

Key Highlights of The Program

A few highlights of the course:

  • Certification on program completion for everyone and merit certificate for the top 5% of students.
